Trail to First Class at Camp Cutter, Nov 3-5

Here is an opportunity for them to complete many of the requirements for the ranks of Scout through First Class! Knots, Cooking, Fire Starting, Map and Compass, Plant and Animal Identification, First Aid, Food Safety, Knife and Axe Safety, Water-swim requirements- and much more! This is a district event. You can register now through October 31 2017 at 5:00PM- Late period rates apply beginning October 15 2017 at 12:00AM.

Cutter Scout Reservation is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, San Mateo County, approximately 54 miles from Palo Alto. Cutter is about 2,200 feet in elevation and is in some of the last old-growth redwoods on the west coast.

Cutter Scout Reservation is a full-service camp. It can camp up to 600 people, or as few as ten. Harkson Lodge boasts first-class cooking, dining and sleeping areas. The dining hall will feed up to 200 people and the sleeping area can accommodate 20-30 people. Harkson Lodge is ADA accessible including shower and toilet facilities. In addition, there are numerous camping sites, trails, a chapel, picnic tables and a full trading post to purchase items to make your camping experience easier.
